European AEA Convention in Amsterdam

1 min czytania

Every year, shortly after the AEA Convention in the USA, representatives of avionics branch meet in Europe. The host city of this year’s meeting was Amsterdam.. We could not miss this event.

For us, the conference was yet another opportunity to meet with our partners and conference sponsors such as Aspen Avionics, Avidyne Corp, BendixKing, Garmin, L3, Mid-Continent Instruments and Universal Avionics. We also visited stands of other companies we cooperate with, such as Becker Avionics and Trig Avionics. The European meeting is more about exchanging information and discussing legal regulations rather than presenting news. These are shown at the AEA Convention in the USA. We were pleased that during Amsterdam conference there was also a training. We took part in the very useful training on the new Garmin G1000NXi – system, which is a successor of ever-popular G1000 . G1000 NXi integrated flight deck incorporates a number of innovative capabilities, such as wireless cockpit connectivity, including wireless database updates using Flight Stream, enhanced situational awareness with SurfaceWatch ™, visual approaches, and map overlay on the HSI. What is more, Garmin presented and promoted G5, electronic flight instrument, which has been approved by the EASA. Conference organizers have arranged more attractions for the participants. The Amsterdam canal cruise was one of them, undoubtedly very pleasant and charming.

New partner of APPAREO Systems

At this year’s AEA Convention in New Orleans, we initiated talks with the American company Appareo System – a manufacturer of avionics systems for aircrafts. As a result, we have signed a mutual agreement and become Appareo dealer. Thanks to the established cooperation our offer has been enriched by, among others, systems like flight data recording, flight data monitoring or aircraft registration.
